Meersbrook Park

Description

Meersbrook Park is about 3km south of the city centre. Formerly part of the Meersbrook Estate, the park has retained many of its histroci features, including the walled garen, and the red-bricked Meersbrook House, built in 1780 (which was home to the Ruskin Museum until 1950). Also within the park is Tudor House, one of only 3 remaining Tudor properties, and one of thre oldest buildings in the city, which was built c.1500.

Longer courses will also visit the area south-west of the park, including urban areas and small areas of woodland.
