Local dusk event
A Local event at Loxley Common
On Wed 11th Oct 2017 from 17:30 until 18:30
Thank you to everyone who came to Loxley last night in damp and gloomy conditions. We had fab turn out on the yellow – 23 runners. A combination of fading light, lots of undergrowth and a slightly out of date map made for some long times on orange and above so very well done to everyone who finished their course. Thank you to Laura for planning and running her first event complete with baby in tow!

How to enter
Loxley Common comprises of large areas of open common land, runnable underfoot with a complex network of paths on grass, heather and bracken common. To the south there is an area of woodland, with a small section very bouldery. There is some intricate contour detail created by old mine/quarry workings..
The area was used for the Senior Home International relays in 2006 with a resurvey by Oli Johnson; minor updates have been undertaken in 2010 and 2012.More details about Loxley Common...
