On-line circuits Sun 5 Apr & SYO Strava group
We have a bonus on-line circuit session this week at 10am on Sunday 5 April. It will be a core session, similiar to last time. Something to use as weights will be useful and a mat, rug or carpet. You will need code 1968 to access the session.
Please email Mary if you have any injuries and she can give you some modifications to the exercises. She won't play music this time but will instead just talk and say the timings and this means people will be able to ask questions more easily - use the spacebar to ask a question.
If people want to access the music so they can play it in the background at home - here is a link to the mp3 files
The instructions for using Zoom are below if you didn't join us last time:
To get into Zoom you just need a pc or laptop with webcam and microphone, and then click the link.
If you've used Zoom before (and have it installed) then it will just open Zoom. If you haven't used Zoom before it will open in a browser, and then ask you to open/install an app. Just say yes and it should open a pop-up asking you to enter your name, and then you'll be in the conference.
Once in you should then see and hear everyone else, and you should be able to turn your video on or off, and turn your microphone on or off.
Towards the top right of the screen you should be able to choose "Gallery View" or "Presenter View". Pick whichever one you prefer.
With a lot of people on the conference, it will be best for everyone to be on mute, except when you want to ask or say something. You can set yourself on mute, and then use the spacebar (press and hold) to briefly un-mute your microphone.
If you are using a laptop you'll want to ensure that the screensaver or power saving options don't turn off the screen partway through the session. I suggest turning off the screen saver and setting the power options not to turn off the screen or the laptop while it is plugged into power.
We have an SYO strava group. Click here to join. Top of the leader board this week is Pippa with 8 hours and 42 minutes of training, just ahead of James M by 36 seconds! James tops the most distance covered chart though with 204km.
