We have a night event this Wednesday 7th November at Burbage Mines, Ringinglow. This is a super little area with complex contour detail. There are 3 courses for experienced orienteers plus a newcomers course so if you haven’t tried night orienteering before – now is your chance! Juniors are welcome, although those that normally run orange or below must be shadowed. Starts 6-7pm. Full details here.
There is a post event social at the Norfolk Arms from 7pm. Just order off the main menu when you have run.
Please remember to email me by 12 noon on 6th November to pre-order your maps and let me know if you are planning to come to the Norfolk Arms. Choose from:
Ochre – 1.6km - follows paths, obvious contours and has taped routes. Jade – 1.5km - technically difficult Navy – 2.2km – technically difficult Pitch black – 3.3km – technically difficult with a mix of long legs and butterfly loops
Treeton – Sun 11th Nov
Full details for the event available here. Paul is still short of helpers for Sunday’s event. Please can you email him if you can help. Helpers receive a 50% discount on their entry fee.
