Results, Winsplits (Splits analysis), Splitsbrowser (Other) and RouteGadget are now up.  Ranking points are now OK for all courses.  Yorkshire Urban League scores have also been calculated and can be seen here:

The event was a great success.  The new amphitheatre made a great arena for the event and the Park Hill complex and excellent map and planning meant the courses were as challenging as the best urban orienteering. Even the scenery was excellent, surprising even long term SYO members with views and crocuses in the Cholera Monument Park and the vibrancy of Victoria Quays with its narrow boats and cafes.  (Peter Gorvett - controller)

This event was part of the Yorkshire Urban League. The following courses will be used:: Long (Men's Open, Women's Open, Men's Vet), Medium (Women's Vet, Men's Supervet, Men's Ultravet) and Short (Junior Men, Junior Women, Supervet Women and Ultravet Women). Details about the Urban league can be found here:

The Sheffield Adventure Film Festival took place over the whole of this weekend.   See

What are the signing and parking /access arrangements?

Is train travel recommended? exit past Platform 8 on way to tram stop? Is there cover in case of rain?

Final details will be ready soon.
If anyone does drive please park in the station multi storey (pay and display) It is definitely recommended to come by train/tram/bus and exit the back of the station (toilets at the station or Showroom) there will be a tent with limited kit space.

I didn't get a chance to pre-enter, do you think there will be enough maps available on the day?

(not that a map is much use to me - its all just squiggles)

Great event. Thank you.

Having done Short with the kids I couldn't quite face Long but really enjoyed Medium (and perhaps had a bit of an advantage on a few controls!).

I thought the variety of types of urban terrain was tremendous and the map made sense when I concentrated.

Lovely assembly and the kids had a great time in the maze.

Yes, that was great fun, the kids did well on the short course, their first go at it I think.

Thanks a milliion.

Excellent event - good course, very well organised, lovely situation, very friendly and helpful officials. Well worth the journey from Derbyshire. Many thanks for everyone's hard work.

Great event and had to keep thinking, although obviously not quite enough as I left my brain at number 14 and ran straight past number 15
